I've been flying out of Baghdad a few times recently, just to get a feel of actually how bad it is. First time round I lost hydraulics, electrical
systems and a fuel tank was hit. What annoyed me about that was there was no way to disconnect the autothrottle once the electrics had gone, try
doing a landing at 250 kts
Second time I lost hydraulics again, and had an engine failure. Thing is on both occasions, even though I lost hydraulics I could still control the
flight surfaces. I would of thought if a resivour is hit then you loose everything (Like the Sioux City crash), or is it partial systems that go?
