Incident Report:

One engine was damaged by small arms fire coming from the ground and ceased to function. The right fuel tank was hit by a ground shot
and started leaking fuel. The left fuel tank was hit by a ground shot and started leaking fuel. The vacuum system was hit by a ground shot.
The hydraulic system was hit by a ground shot resulting in total loss of all hydraulic systems. The electrical systems were hit by a ground
shot resulting in a complete electrical systems failure. Your aircraft received a few ground shots. The aircraft was hit by anti-aircraft
artillery fire resulting in a massive hull rupture. There was an exceptional pilot on board and despite the dire situation he was able to land
the aircraft safely. The Captain has also declared an emergency before landing.

Been FSPassengering a long time, but never posted on the forums until I saw this thread. I did a 'Air Force One' of yesteryear flight from Baghdad
Intl, hoping to get to Saudi Arabia, but alas, did not make it. Bit harder landing then yours! But my flaps were busted. Here are the results:

I have been lucky to make it to the next airport after a departure and a very short flight with all sorts of stuff not working, as for reaching my
destination, not happening!

I had the same thing happen. I did a long haul flight from CONUS to Iraq.

On 10 mile final I had the living crap shot out of my plane. I had both tanks damages and drained of fuel, I had the electrics, hydraulics
and vacuum system hit, I also had massive hull rupture and a couple of other things (I'll print the list up later)

HOWEVER, what annoyed me was the statement "Pilot loaded insufficient fuel on board" blah blah blah and minus a whole stack of
numbers.

HELLO! The only reason my engines flamed out on short final was because I had bloody great 23mm holes shot into my airframe. While
I was at 15 miles I had enough fuel for roughly 1000nm flying, even at low level high thrust. However it all leaked out and I was forced to
make a dead stick dead instrument landing from about 3nm out. And I got penalised for not having sufficient fuel? WTF?

I did manage to make back some points by having a "nice" landing, but that's hardly a suprise when you're down to 90 kts and fighting for
every inch or altitude and every foot of airspeed.


Still I'm at work right now, I'll post the umm, post flight tomorrow.
