I don't have internet access at home that is why i use the local library , my question is there a way of downloading the upgrades and then
let my system use the upgrade to my fspassengers and if not then is there a way to use the 3letter icao so i can fly to airports near my
home without penaltys?

Not sure if this is what you mean but you can download the update at your library, put it on a memorystick or anything, and then install it at home.

There are none 3 letter ICAO codes (well, except for airlines and so... but we are talking about airports )
THose 3 letter airport codes are IATA, in US and I believe also Canada you just give K or C respectively in front of these 3 letters, however in
other countries you hav to use 4 letter ICAO code (preferrably the very same one as FS database uses )

If you are using the latest version (Sept 05), you can use the 3 letter airport codes. The database that everybody keeps refering to as
NOTHING to do with FSP detecting if you are at the right airport. It's simply there to display the name of the airport when you
enter it as your destination. Period. If the airport you want to fly to is not in that database, you can add it if you want but you really don't have
to.

When you land and end your flight, FsP gathers the airport you are at from the GPS' nearest airport. That's how the program assesses if
you are at the right destination.

thanks everyone I downloaded to my flashdrive the upgrade and now i can use 3 letter airports and i don't get anymore penaltys except
when i crash...haha
