I just reformatted of my compy, and of course moronic me forgot to backup my FsPassengers...well, at least I'll have something to do now...

something like that happened to me a few days ago, i went on and for no apparent reason my company was gone so i made a new one,
the good thing is i was only level c3

Can't stress this enough - ensure you back up your FSP folder! Often!
Not specific to FSP either; back up any data you don't ever want to lose; this includes registration keys, e-mails, photographs, whatever - hard drive failures do happen, and they're NOT PICKY about what data disappears! Burn it to CD or DVD once a month at the very least.

Fun thing is I had EVERYTHING saved. Personal emails, bookmark lists, bought addon registration keys, addon serials, savegames you name it. EVERYTHING
was saved, except FSP. Was a tad bit grumpy when I fired up FS9 and started a FSP flight, only to find my pilot and company gone. *sigh* Well, I guess I won't be making this mistake again anytime soon. :D "Dont be too optimistic. The light at the end of the tunnel could be a train." - Franz Kafka |
