Thanx for your fees back
![]() What is less brillant so far are my flights with this monster. But in progress anyway. Getting from cold and dark to ready to taxi is rather simple, the plane is quite eazy to taxi and take off except when this strange thing occures: At take off at full power, the engines instrument show normal values but the plane don't get enough speed for take off after some 10 000 feets on the runway, it will just reach painfully some 80 kts while it needs some 140-160 kts for take off. This happend me twice, when everything is normal it easyly take off at 75% of MTOW after 4000 feets. Once airborne, no trouble pull back gentky the throttle from TOGA to FLEX and then to CLB and upon your settings in the MCDU, the plane will follow gently speeds, planed altitudes and path. Just I noticed some repeated oscillations in altitudes and pitch at wind change. Things becomes a bit tricky when starting descent. I did not find yet if and how it would be possible to trigger descent from managed mode. So I set a lower altitude and, sometimes, it will work, sometimes not or sometimes give dreadfull dives or pitch up. The engine managementt called FADEC gets completely nuts during descent and relying on it is the best way to cross fl 100 at some 350 kias. So i deactivate the autothrottle at some fl 150. Even in manual, the engines need a very long time to get at iddle thrust. Then, the plane is quite long to loose an eccess of speed. So it is necessary to get stable at approach altitude pretty long time enough to start the final at around 160 kts. I LS capture goexs well but with lot of inertia and oscillations. It can be annoying, especially oscillations around the glide slopes which induces som dolphin ups and down and mess up speed control. I hope experience will bring me some better skill controlling this monster The plane answers very nicely in manual mode ![]()

If you have Dans approval for the fsp-repaint, is it possible that you can upload it to either here or at avsim so the rest of us can get a copy?
(I have the payware and hopefully a few others too) Great work!!! :D 1rescue

Pierre, although (I honestly admit) I don't like the plane too much from what I read and saw on Wilco's site, that livery is just awesome!!!
VERY good paint job! ![]()

Pierre: you can always upload it to the fspworldtour.com homepage if you want..
And, of course, that goes for all FSPWT repaint! ![]()

Quote:If you have Dans approval for the fsp-repaint, To be honest, I did not thought about this aspect until now. Should references to FsPassengers on my liveries bring some positives results, it's all good and fine for me. In the other hand, Dan is the legitimate owner of the concept, name and related logos. So, if Dan don't wish for any reason having FsPassengers references on liveries which go over the net as installable files or screenshots, he just let me know and I will do accordingly. So, I will wait his aproval to upload the files on the net. Thanx again for the nice feed-back Pierre ![]()

Hey that look definitively nice, great work
![]() No problem for me and I'm even ready to host this aircraft also on the "download" section. If you want to do so just send me by any way the file I'll upload them an brake the "4mo" limit. Best Dan

Thanks Dan
![]() I think I will do as per the ATR - a set of mutilayered psd files for who wih to add or remove details like personal marks as ![]() - a set of ready to use texture directory in DXT3 format (much faster to load than the extended BMP 32 provided by wilco, for who just wishes to use it as it is for flying or plane mapping in network flights. As it is indeed a serious amount of megabites, I will host them where I already host the ATR livery sets Good flights to all Pierre ![]()

Pegase, that plane comes as standard overloaded for some reason. Have you tried downloading my payload model for it? Included is a
txt showing the fix for the overloaded problem ![]() Flying for Landmark Airlines. |
