Will having to be delayed because of traffic have an effect on your final score? And what about mid-air collisions, will they be treated as a
normal ground crash? Will Ground traffic affect your score as well?

Only if you enter a specified arrival time and your late will traffic affect you. If you crash you have options as to how it affects you apparently,
up to and including losing that pilot forever.

Tolerance is +/-10 minutes per 1 hour of flight.

Will delays affect your score? Yes, if you choose that option. Both air and ground traffic will affect your score. When you board your PAX,
you are given the option to enter both a Destination airport and an Arrival time. If you arrive within 3% (total flight time in minutes) of your
specified time of arrival, you get a bonus. If you arrive within 12% you don't get penalized. However, if you arrive outside of that 12% of
flight time in minutes window, you get penalized (yes, even if you are ahead of schedule).

What about mid-air collisions? That depends on your Flight Simulator settings. Dan will correct me if I'm wrong on this one because I
haven't tested this scenario but if your settings a on crash and you crash (wether it be a building, a plane or a runway) FsP will detect it an
your flight will be affected accordingly. Depending on the nature of the crash, you might have minor damage and injuries or you could
have a totally destroyed planed with everybody on board killed (yes, even your pilot).

Will ground traffic affect your score? Yes, if you taxi too fast, passengers panic and if you it another airplane or building, you crash!

But if you crach "gently", the pax will suffer only wounds, as your pilot (who will need to heal). In fact, the number of casualties and the
damages will depend of the intensity of the crash. But don't forget: the pilot is on the front of the plane. When you crash, he's often the first
to pass out...

True, FsP detect if you crash on a building, ground or on another airplane, this will be reported...
if you do midair collision anyway I'm affraid there isl not much peoples on board that survive.

I find a blip of 8 x accelerated speed gets rid of any pesky AI planes on final approach thus avoiding those GA's when AI planes queue
jump. However I suspect RW parameters will apply - it is the pilot's responsibility to monitor traffic, even that sometimes as dopey as the
MSFS AI ones.

I suggest AISmooth, great little freeware utility for clearing AI realistically.

Actually, I like traffic. It's more realistic especially when you fly at bigger airports. For this reason I set my FS to the maximum traffic
allowed and I also have Ultimate Traffic on.

When FsP asks me my planned arrival time, I generally do the following:

Current Time + 10 mins to take-off (if starting from gate) + Flight Time on FP planner + 20 Mins for arrival (if flying IFR - 5 if not) + 5 min.
contingency.

After 20 flights, this little formula has kept me within the 12% on 19 occasions. I was within the 3% on 12 of those fligths. The missed
flight was caused by changing the wind settings AFTER planning the fligth.

Do you mean by clearing AI realistically is that the AI planes will not occupy the runways for minutes and will follow eachother in the air in
reasonable distances?

It puts them into a hold around 40 NM out from the airport. It won't affect them on the runway, but because it maintains a seperation
distance they do mostly clear the runway in time. I'm not saying you don't get any go-arounds, in fact that would be just as unrealistic. But
it's a heckuva lot less than normal. And only once since has an AI plane tried to run me down.

I have noticed AI planes tend to stop dead on the runway in an unrealistic distance then just sit there. In reality I'm sure the Captain would
be looking for the first suitable taxiway after getting speed down. Hopefully something corrected in FS2006!

The AI Traffic in front I be not afraid off....

its more the AI Traffic behind me that came down the glide path with 200+ kts....

It happen more than one time that I was in 500 feet ready to land an one of these guys overtake me 20 feet above my baseball-cap and I
get a "go-around"....

Thats right Andreas! That is why I find it very useful to have TCAS in some planes, especially in ATR, where I glide below the average final
aproach speed. It is pretty common that I have to make a scissor to avoid collision.

Question to jboweruk...
Does this software put the player aircraft on holding too? In other words: when I arrive into heavy traffic, would I also be sent to holding
pattern? It would be cool, because it is one of the most annoying thing when I see that a plane is too close in front of me on aproach, and
the TC does nothing about it.

No player always give priority. But you don't notice it. What happens is it watches where you are, if you obviously on approach to an airport
it starts putting AI planes on hold so that you don't often get those "run down" feelings from behind. You get straight in, I've not had a go
around since using it.
