helo are not supported in FsP...
half line of code are specifically done for aircraft, supporting hello would mean rewriting half code... You can anyway load one with passengers if you can allow parking brake in it's aircraft.cfg but I'll not support any side effect you may have in reports... (flaps not set and such) So one can perhaps fly with them but the official reply is "helo are not supported" Dan

notice I just added "DisableFlapcheck" in the "more_config.cfg"
so if someone really want to fly hello he may be able taken that he can add parking brake to this hello... I just tried the bell rangers, adding brake section in the aircraft.cfg have done the job: [brakes] parking_brake = 1 //Parking brake available toe_brakes_scale = 600.0 //Brake scalar I just lift off 10 meter and landed and I got a report... it work.... I got only a flap penality (but you can disable it in more_option.cfg) Also I bought my BELL for $200'000 wich is wrong in my opinion... still hello aren't "officially" supported in FsP... I think many things will not be taken in account properly in the report.... Dan Post Edited ( 06-02-05 21:07 )

Dan you are the greatest. Just wish I could fly the helos and land 'em 100% like I can most everything else, except the DH8 with 2d only

Hi John! Here are couple of the tips that will certainly help you controlling the helos: http://forums.flightsim.com/dc/dcboard.p...34714&page= ![]() "Blessed are those who can laugh at their own mistakes, for they shall never cease to be amused "

I don't want to post a huge reply on this topic, so you can check out the forums over at the following sites for more info. They helped alot
for me. I use most choppers from the LZ's Chopper Shop ( they seem easier to fly). Check out Hovercontrol http://www.hovercontrol.com and the VUSCG http://www.vuscg.org for some more articles on chopper flight. Adjust your sensitivities down around half in the FS menu and the null zone smaller down to about an 1\8th. Also if using FSUIPC, adjust your joystick\pedal\throttle sensitivities there also. Makes a big difference in collective and cyclic control. It is hard but not impossible to transition from hover to land. Try using clear weather till you get the hang of it.

Hi,
I, as beta tester, tried to fly passengers for a short flight in Rhode Island, using the Aerosot SeaHawk SH-60 and everything was fine. No problem met, note this helo has a parking brake... and FSP is needing this. That's why Dan specified helos are not officially supported by FSPassengers.
