I am in career mode and would like to ask a question about failure percentages, I hope i don't confuse anyone.
I have the failure settings set to 0 or none, i forget the name, but i have the percentage chance of random failures turned off in the
settings. What I need to clarify is that I STILL WANT failures, but ONLY as a result of improper aircraft treatment or maintenance. So in
career mode, if my aircraft is not 100%, say 95% for example. Does my 5% chance of failure actually apply, or is it void because my
settings in the menu have it turned off? I really don't want the possibility of random failures (yet) because I'm trying to grow to a thriving
business. But I do require (for a little bit of realism) that failures be present if I cannot maintain my aircraft.
Are my settings OK or do I need to set the settings to a minimum of 1% in order for my career mode failures to apply?
I tried a search but I suck at that so im sorry if this topic has been beaten to death.
