Real pilots?

Are there any real pilots on here and would tehy mind talking to me? Because i am a 15 year old boy and i really want to be pilot in my
future career im just not too sure how to go about it! Please could some real pilots talk to me! Thanks a lot

unfortunately only of my 2m AT-6 Texan (24ccm , 4hp at 7.800 UPM) model plane and some other model planes more.....

But hey! Who real Pilot was land his plane without instrument reference from the external view yet?

Hey,
I want to be a pilot, and I had the choice between that and the managment. I went for Aviation managment. There is no jobs here in
Canada for pilots. But, if you want to be a pilot- look into colleges unvirsities in your country. In canada there is Sault Ste. Marie College
and Thunder Bay Confederation which are government subsidized, and it is extremely cheap to get your licence. Incase you dont know,
you will have to have atleast your CPL with ME-IFR, Night Endor. to fly a learjet. And about a 1000 hours to buy one. Another way is army,
and ofcrouse a flying school. Flying school is very expensive and not necessirily the best, but u do get to work at your own pace.
http://www.pprune.com is probably your best hope for a good word from a pilot. And first, before you spend any money on trianing, get a
medical checked out, so you wont spend 10 years of your life only to find out that you have extensive high blood pressure that wont allow
you to get your ATPL. Also check out http://www.smartcockpit.com, try out one of the system quizzes, and see if you like to answer those
questions. Real pilots go through unbelievable number of tests on everything to do with planes. It takes about 3 months to get a type
rating. You are a full time 8-5 student learning pnemautics of 767 for a week. Oh and it all comes off your paycheck, including your
uniform. And after you are done training, you are nothing but a reserve pilot on duty 3-5 days a week, and have to be within 30 minutes of
the airportl, ready to fly on-call. and most of all good luck maintaining your medical with high stress life and probably a family on your
back. But if you do get past that hard stage, you are up for one GOOD career. And always remember, the path towards it might be more
fun than being there

Here are some comments:

Agree for Canada...Been there for 4 years...and very hard to get a job...especially if your just fresh from school and 250h exp.
I heard about a good school as well in Ontario called Empire Aviation...they are next to Diamond factory.
...hum...regarding flying a learjet...dream about it! (corporate aviation ask generally for corporate pilotes and it's a very closed area)...Unless
you go for Netjet and then you can have a chance...but still...

About the last part of your message, it sounds like you have to go for the airline...but there are many ways to come to that "end". And generally, a
real pilot has fown many different aircrafts from the single pistion C150-152 to B767-777...So plenty different jobs on the path!
I can tell you that a C208 captains earn more money than a 1st officer on most of the regionals...if money is an issue...But it is because to get
licensed, it take approx 40.000 to 50.000$USD (CPL-IR-TWIN)...& no type ratings...So you must make sure that if you take a loan, ask for at least 3
years delay before pay back....Because, unless you know the right people or you're very lucky, you won't expect to get a job in one year time after
school...
The most important thing in aviation is CONTACTS! You'll have to meet people, companies everywhere....even pilots on the tarmac !
Don't even try sending Cv's overseas, companies won't hire you...it works only if your're already experienced....
