MPH
Usually aircraft use KTS (knots) I'm sure you knew that. So you sure your not going 300 kts? If you are your.....really fast and your burning more fuel than you should. Simple solution, go slower.

Maybe some more info, what aircraft and route were you on? and what altitude etc.?

On long flights, you generally want to fly at a high altitude with low throttle settings. But yes, it depends a lot on your plane.
300,000 km/sec. Its not just a good idea, its the law.

ya, you cant do that with an Cessna. lol.

whats ur aircraft, and try to fly at FL370- FL 400 and at .79-.81 MACH thats the best thing i could tell you now, and also try to check the fuel
section in ur aircraft cfg. maybe its ot configured well.

I just do a stop at an airport and fuel up there HaHaHa I dont do non-stop unless I make my customers pay more for tickets and food (if
the cost of gas goes up) otherwise yes, I would fly at an alt of 35 to 37,000 feet between 300 and 350mph.

fs2004josh USE MACH SPEED at high attitude! because at fl35-37 mach 80 is around 260 knots or 250 im not sure

Ummm, ABD....why would you did this post up from over a year ago and respond to a banned user?

I get a bit confused as to converting mach speed to knots but try this. Personally I think its way out. They reckon that 660 knots are equal
to 1 mach. I have always flown at around 69 - 71 mach but admit to being a bit confused over this. Don`t know if this is of any help to you but you may want to take a look. John http://www.globalaircraft.org/converter.htm Post Edited ( 06-12-09 13:09 )
