fs2004 offline

sometimes I can't play fs2004 with a live internet connection so then I have to set the weather manual but the problem that I don't like is
that this weather will stay the same no matter how far you have flown away from the dep airport unless you open back the weather box
and make new weather wich is annoying and unreal, example you fly in clear sky and in the area that you are is forming a thunderstorm
so the options you have is from clear sky directly in an heavy thunderstorm or pause the flight every 5 minutes to change the weater a bit.
so I was wondering if someone knows if there is an add-on that can change weather automatic as it would be as you are connected to
an live internet connection

You've been using FS9's weather engine, I presume. Active Sky 6 will certainly provide you with more reliability and realism...offline or
online. HiFiSimulation is where you can get it.

i also use Active Sky, it is awesome. Though without some other program Joe wants me to spend money on you still get that random wind change that
totally messes up your pitch and therefore airspeed.

Go on and get registered with FSUIPC, Jim. You can smooth out those drastic wind changes, tightwad

I've bought active sky a while ago and used it 1 or 2 times , the reason for this was that I didn't understand what I had to do in those
menu's (1 week later I got flight environment as a present so I used this all the time ) but when I readed the first the manual I thought it
said that you have to insert you FL and wich kind of clouds you wanna have. but if your cruise level is FL350 then the weather will stay
there ? or when you descent he makes automatic new weather for that altitiude? when I'm back home I will give it another try but sure I will
need the help from you guys to set it up right

About Active Sky...if you go to their support forum, there is a sticky that gives you pointers on the settings that will make things run more
smoothly. If you have imported a flight plan into AS6, it will decode the METARs for your route of flight. The weather will change. Also,
using FSUIPC to smooth out wind changes helps tremendously.

E: at this moment I'm in Italy so I don't have my computer here but when I'm back home I'll give it a shot , when I run into problems I will let you know.

In fsx there is an option that tells you " Weather updated every 15 minutes" which eventually is real world weather updated every fifteen
minutes
