Dual monitor question

I have two wide screen monitors and would like to be able to surf the web on my secondary screen while flight simming. I put FS9 in windowed mode and start up Firefox, but every time I click on Firefox FS9 pauses. Is there a way around this?

Have you un-clicked the box that say's Pause on task switch in you FS "Gerneral Settings" section.
I think that is the problem.

That worked but the sound turns off. Is there a way around that?

You mean when you switch tasks?
I don't think their is a way around that.
It will be silent until you re-click it.

Could you make a gauge with a web-browser and place it in an aircraft panel, like the popup GPS?

I Believe there is a utility that builds a web browser into your kneeboard.. (or whatever that thing is called )
