Ongoing flight statitistics.

Unless I've missed something (always possible), there seems to be no way to keep track an airline's flights by logging departure and
destination airports, palne, weights time, etc.

I'd use FS Flight Tracker but its user interface isn't automated in any respect.

So, doesn anyone have a method to turn those FSP end of flight reports into useful logs?

Is very helpful for real-world live flight information, however it looks like the main site (flightaware.com) has been hijacked. There was a
page talking about infatuations, and giving the description of crush... really weird. Not sure when it will be back up.

That is very nice, but I only need to keep the information locally and would settle for renaming the end of flight report with a timestamp and
keeping them in a directory. My interest is in the flights, not the pilot and in such things as vertical speed at touchdown, rather than how
the passengers liked the flight.

Or you can have a look at FS FlightKeeper (You can find some info here -> http://www.aerosoft-shop.com). It´s a great Payware, includes a comprehensive Blackbox, Logbook, Weather Planning,
GPWS, ARCAS, Flight Critique (Flight Analyzing) and Cockpit Sound System.
Reads your FS Scenery files and displays your flight plan, airports, AI traffic, weather, ... on a live world map during the flight. Supports
WideFS, I always have it running on a second PC while flying.

And most important, it runs well with FSP !

theres a text file created for the last viewed report (overwritten after each view for a different report), just copy that file to a different
location after each flight, after viewing the flights statistics that you want.

The VA export option offer anyway all details for one flight as vertical speed distance, fuel etc etc (simply click on one Flight ID)
if you know how to do it you can export to localhost (mean you can export also to a local php page)

better things: as said crowerbird each time you view a flight report you have a "lastviewed.rtf" file created
in FsPassengers folder with the complete flight report as showed in FsP. Just set FS in windowed mode,
click one flight, rename the "lastviewed.rtf" with whatewer you want, click another flight, rename etc etc...
You will end with a folder will all flight report in a different RTF file ready to view in word or
you can even past them all in a word document (so you can do text search)

Once in word we can imagine that you can export them to excell and do whatewer with the data..

It sure would be handy if FSP had the option to export flights to a CSV file which could be directly imported into Excel. I'm surprised that
while FSP makes a pilot log available, it does not do the same with flights.

I'm not sure I understand... "pilot log" are flight log in fact...

While I can double-click on an entry in the pilot log and get details of that flight, I can not get those details in log form. I can't compare
flights line by line.

I have FS Flight Tracker and it provides what I am looking for, but its interface is clunky and it lacks automation. I have the trial version of
FS Flight Keeper. It is overkill and I haven't found a way to have it automatically dump the current flight into the log.

All I am really looking for is a utility that can either display flight statistics in log form or append the data to a CSV file that I can import into
Excel.

Unlike most folks in these forums, I am not interested in passengers screaming or a copilot that yells, "I love you, Mom", just before a
crash. That's fine if you regard FS as a game. I don't.

When you've finished your flight just disconnect FlightKeeper with the appropriate button (or F6) and it automatically logs your flight data.

You want a "data sheet" with a column for each flight and a row for each stats of each flights?

And BTW: If you don't want to hear the pax screaming and the copilot yelling, you just have to be a good pilot! Many of us here do not
think FS is a game. But in the true world, those reactions exist. And life is not a game.
