I made a practice flight from VQPR to Lukla recently with the twin otter. I had a feeling the weather was going to be less than stellar upon
arrival in Lukla. My landing sucked but I got the paxs there in one piece.
Preparing to back taxi to RWY 33 Paro:

Enroute Lukla at FL230:

Looking at the overcast on the approach side of Lukla:

At least we all got there with no parts of the airplane left on the runway:

Another flight I wanted to try out with a CS B727-100 from ANAU to AGGH...also one of the routes on the world tour:
Taxiing to RWY12 ANAU:

![[Image: ANAUtaxicopy.jpg]](http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d168/Joeflyer/ANAUtaxicopy.jpg)
Finally in position for takeoff:

![[Image: ANAUrwy12copy.jpg]](http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d168/Joeflyer/ANAUrwy12copy.jpg)
Due to the light load, this 727 shot off the runway as if it had JATO bottles attached to the a-- end:

![[Image: ANAUdeparture2copy.jpg]](http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d168/Joeflyer/ANAUdeparture2copy.jpg)
Cruising at FL320 and already picking up reports of thunderstorms in the area:

![[Image: ANAU-AGGH2copy.jpg]](http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d168/Joeflyer/ANAU-AGGH2copy.jpg)
On descent to AGGH, the weather worsened with major thunderboomers looming over the arrival airport but vis. was good enough for a
VOR approach:

Having my hands full during a manual approach, I didn't get any screenies on the approach or landing, just the gate arrival:
