PMDG 747-400 Queen Of The Skies (Need Autopilot Help)

Hi guys,

I recently got the PMDG 747-400 but im having problems engaging the autopilot.

I've read the manual and it just says click any of the three autopilot engage buttons... I do, but it wont engage.

I try the normal fs key to engage the autopilot (ctrl - a) but it still wont engage???


is there a specific nob i need to turn, or does it have a specific power switch I need to first switch on?

p.s aircraft main battery is defintly on because the guages have power and engines can be throttled.

Well you have to press cmd I think, the one in the middle is the one I use, and it took me a while to figure out that right clicking made it go up lol

are you in the air or ground? Try engaging in the air.

Here are some suggestions.

If your taking off you need to be above a certain altitude before engaging.
Make sure you'r Flight Director is turned on (it's required i think)
Check that the Autopilet Disengage bar is up. The one below the 3 CMD buttons.
