Hawker Siddeley HS-748

[Airtime]

Anyone get this to work using the installer that came in the package? I have installed it twice and the AC still does not show up anywhere.

Check to make sure the other 2 texture installers sent the textures to the "Aircraft folder"...FSDS3 HS.748.......
For some reason my son had the thing happen, and he found them in the wrong place.....

Still no joy with this one, shame too because it looks to be really well well done. What exactly do you mean when you say "the other 2 texture
installers"? I DLd the "base pack" and the site says to install that first, and then install:

From the readme file:

Please install Base Pack first.
Then Pack 1 (27 liveries)
Then Pack 2 (25 more Liveries)

I am frankly not interested in 52 liveries. I did find the folder that you mentioned "FSDS3 HS.748! and it is in my FS9 Aircraft folder.

Any other ideas?

I get teh plane to work and it flies sweetly. One problem though, the autopilot doesn't seem to want to turn on or function in any way, has
any one else noticed this?

Sorry I can't help you any. Mine did just fine on the install.

I figured it out, I had to install at least 1 of the additional livery packs. It seems odd that there was not 1 flyable model in the base pack.

I've been flying this thing for about a week now...... amazingly done. I didn't think anything could replace my DC-3..... but this aircraft has
quickly become my favorite!

Yeah, I have been flying it as well and I LOVE it. Especially the checklists.

My autopilot works fine, I don't know if anyone else has a problem with it? It is ofcourse different than the A/P of a 737 or so, but it works.

It really is a great plane, I use it now for flying in Hawai, hopping the islands using a fun voicepack. I will try to upload it btw.

I have the autopilot working now. I was testing it on the ground and it didn't seem to want to turn on but once I got airborne it worked just
fine. I love the plane and all the different liveries. Makes FsP operations nice and flexible.

Fantastic aircraft!! I've also have Noordyn Norsmen, DHC2TTC, DHC3, DHC6, Dash 8 (PAD), HS Trident, B737 (The Experience), B757 POSKY Continental, CRJ200 POSKY, and plenty of the oldies like the Curtis-Wright AT-32 , fully VC, not payware, and great planes to fly!
