Gates opening CES webstream including Vista and FSX demos...

Enjoy folks, it is a bit lengthy and I would not attempt without broadband but some of what they are showing in Vista and just technology in general
is amazing. I am not even up to the FSX demo at the end but there is a LIVE preview of the game...
The laptop they are showing right now is SICK!!!! It has a small LCD screen on the outside so you can see applications such as calendar, mail etc...
without having to open the laptop and boot up.
I am excited for things to come...

Edit, Just saw the FSX clip, it is short but it does look nice, that is for sure. They specifically mentioned the FS team has "a little more than a year" to complete it. What fascinated me was that he was using an XBOX controller plugged directly into the PC and using VIsta.... Maybe a hint of a slight merging of the PC and XBOX.

i was jus sayin with a friend that xbox is the way 2 go because of the fact they have microsoft so it will bring more pc like feautres to it, i
mean the 360 is basically a computer whereas sony has the viox, which we wont even go there.

The XBOX controller (XBOX original) was basically USB anyway - there currently exists conversion cables so you can use the controller in
current PCs - I thought about getting one so I could increase my ability on driving simulators.

I am pretty sure XBOX and PC communication is possible any way. After all doesn't it use XP as an OS? (although highly basterdised).

Microsoft are certainly moving in the the home entertainment market - so getting all your entertainment equipment linked up to the PC
(home control system) isn't too far away.

It might be the controller I saw on one site that works on both as sold.
