ARIANE 737-700 V2 Watch OUT !!!

I posted this thread because I know that a lot of people want to know if spending almost 80€ (almost 90$) for a plane is a good investment or not .
I'm going to tell you: Please Watch out !!!!!!!!!!!

It is not because you spent 80€ for an addon, that you could expect a 100% clean behavior from a company.
It's been now 4 days that I bought Ariane 737-700 V2, and I have not flew the aircraft yet !! Why ?

The activation process is one of the worse activation process I have seen in my life! It is totally insane!
You have to full open your computer and everything within (no more firewall, worm wall or antivirus, no router...) in order to validate your product.
My ISP is behind a transparent proxy , something which usually happen with a lot of ISP.... Then you cannot register ! You stay with your plane on the
ground and ask for another way of activation: by email...THE JOKE

I sent 4 emails, no answer, no registration code, nothing ....!
Watch out guy, please watch out, I bought a lot of planes, almost every good plane, even Flight1 Wrapper is more professional and more fun to use!

So guys if you are willing to buy this plane please watch out and check your internet setting first or you won't be able to fly the plane right away
or even fly the plane at all !!
They don't answer email or if they answer you, it is 4 or 7 days later.
80€ it is really insane such thing!!!

Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience...
For my part, I'm still waiting to fly with it... perhaps I will have to pay 16€ (25$) for an email. This their fees for administrative things...

Good luck with them, I know how you feel and I am sad to say I have the plane also got the V2 and errrr... they have left my HDD in favour
of the PMDG

this is why I dont pay insane amounts for addons, too much of a chance of getting ripped off, but come on, you should have know better than to open
your computer up for anybody to read??? good way for identity theft to happen. I for one will stick to free planes and panels.

I think it is the best we can do about payware: Tell when we are satisfied and tell when we are not.

I wish that beyond this stupid registration trouble, the plane will bring you for what you payed: a lot.

I don't have either the Ariane or PMDG but i always hear very good stories about the pmdg. That one is around 40€ i think. I wonder in the first
place why they do ask 80€ for it?
But besides that, I do understand they try to protect their product from piracy etc. but it's an example of overdoing it. It seems so well protected
that even legal owners can't fly it anymore. I checked their website and they say somewhere that they don't answer email anymore (?) but instead have
a knowledgebase.....
Maybe if it really doesn't work try to get your money back... Did the transaction go straight to Ariane or was there a thirdparty involved?

This company definetly sounds illigitimate, and no matter how appealing their screenshots may look, it sounds like it's best to stay away
from them!

Ariane aren't up to much, I bought one of their aircraft a long time ago, luckily I only paid 12 quid for it but suffice to say the default 737 is
much better.

Thank goodness I didn't buy an expensive one.

Anyone who thinks they look good take a peek around the flightsim.com forums and search for Ariane. You'll find some really useful little
tidbits about that lot that would put you off ever trusting them with ur cash.
