Are your skies boringly filled with "Soar Airlines" and "Pacifica"? Well, spice it up a little. Sometimes FS repaints and traffic can be
confusing to install, and lots of them have corrupt files. I would recommend going to http://www.ProjectAI.com , and downloading their PAI
Installer - It's a fast download and extremely easy to use. Once downloaded, click on the left navigation area "Official Files". Proceed to
click on Airlines section.
You will be directed to a page with hundreds of Airlines from American Airlines, to South African Express. NOTE: you can ONLY install
these files with the PAI Installer; never upload these files to any website other then PAI - they will become corrupt without the Installer. The
airline logos you see will take you to the download by clicking. You will be asked to accept the terms and conditions, do so. Then your
download will begin. Note that all files from PAI start with: PAI_Installer_ which means they need the PAI Installer.
Another thing to note is that these files are Air Traffic only and are meant as scenery files. But, good news, you can still fly them (and of
course use them for FSPassengers aswell. The only thing is they don't come with the panels or on screen controls. (You can add generic
panel files using Addit! Pro for FS2004) Once you've finished your download, have the PAI file open (the one that says PAI Installer, TT
Tools and others) Drag your download directly onto the little grey square that says PAI Installer, and drop it. You will notice the PAI
Installer will now open.
Next, you will notice a picture of your download as it flies. The Install Wizard will then take you though the process, I recommend just
pressing "next" at every time you see Next, there is no need to do anything else. Once finished there will be an Install Summary, and will
tell you that your file was installed successfully. Press close, to finish. Now, open your FS, and you will notice under the Aircraft Selection
pull down menu, there will be a new file entitled Project AI - Select your aircraft and click Fly Now. You might notice that the aircraft/airline
you downloaded will now be in every airport, and will fly become a Traffic file. Congrats! You're done!
For reference, here’s a sum up -
-Install the PAI Installer from http://www.ProjectAI.com
-Select Official Files, Airlines and choose an airline
-Accept the Terms and Conditions
-You will be directed to a webpage that speaks only Italian, don't worry, your download will start soon.
-If you are using Internet Explorer, click Save, and remember the download title (ex: PAI_Installer_American_Airlines.zip)
-Unzip the file and add it to Pai Installer
-You're done!
When I was new to FS2004, I was really frustrated that I couldn't figure out how to install repaints - I really hope this helps everyone .
Have fun :D ----- All files on PAI work with FSPassengers, but you will be asked to reload the aircraft before you can create your flight ------
