Production date - King Air 350

FSP states that production ended in 1987. However, Raytheon still lists it on the website in current production. I went into Production_date.cfg and
didn't find anything related to the King Air. I added the following and saved it:

AircraftName =beech350,beech 350,beech.350, Kingair 350, King Air 350, Beech_King_Air_350, Beech King Air 350
FirstBuilt =1972
LastBuilt =2005


In the aircraft .cfg file it lists the following:
title=Beech King Air 350
sim=Beech_King_Air_350

However, after starting up FS9 and trying to buy this aircraft, it still gives a production end date of 1987. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry, I should have posted this in the support forum.

I did notice one thing - with the standard FS9 King Air, it shows properly. with a 350 from my virtual airline, it doesn't work. On the purchase
page, it shows the original as King Air 350. The one from my VA shows: "Westwind King Air 350". I have added that to the aircraft names, but it
still doesn't work.

You would need to add it to the production Dates config file. Then it should show up okay.

Ok. The problem is the "westwind" thing...

The IAI Westwind is a corporative jet made in Israel from 1965 to 1987.

The production_date.cfg actual entry is:

AircraftName =1121,westwind,1123,1124
FirstBuilt =1965
LastBuilt =1987

Now, your plane as "Westwind" in its name. So change the line for the "true" Westwind as stated below:

AircraftName =1121,IAI westwind,1123,1124
FirstBuilt =1965
LastBuilt =1987

It will solve your problem!

That fixed it thanks. I'll keep that in mind since WestWind VA has several aircraft name like this. Of course now, it shouldn't be a problem.

I actually went about fixing it a different way. I copied the files in the WestWind texture folder to the main folder. It showed the skin paint I
wanted.
