I've read before where someone was complaining about the fuel on the 737 in FSX burning too fast. I believe they are correct.
I was just flying from Miami, Florida to Las Vegas, Nevada in my 737-800 with 100% fuel at FL39 and a cruse speed of 245kts. By the time I reached
Vegas I only had about 1,000lbs of fuel left!
The ranger from Miami to Las Vegas is about 1,886 nm. I know the 737 can travel about 3,000+ nm, so what is the deal? I have flown a flight just
like this in the real world in a 737 so I know its possible.
More detail on my FSX flight, my engine thrust was average 80-85% at cruse altitude. FSPassengers was set for 129 passengers, Fuel 100% 0lbs front
cargo, about 1,000lbs rear cargo. Total weight = 100%. I stuck to my flight plan via GPS it was virtually a straight flight. According to
FSPassengers I used 5999lbs to reach crusing altitude.
Thats all I can think of, So what can i do to fix this issue? It really bothers me that I can't complete this flight because of lack of fuel? That's
crazy.
