Sorry, can't see what's wrong with the Concorde and it needing to have another aircraft selected before engines will start up. Have looked at both
the aircraft.cfg and the .air files for it and there doesn't seem to be anything that's out of order.

well if none of the files in the model folder, the air and the cfg have problems, what could this be?
Is there any other part in the aircraft folder which relates to the engines? This seems like a cursed FS plane.

Yeah, which is why I'm confuzzled! I'm thinking that the author didn't make it fully FSX compatible as there really isn't anything glaringly wrong
with the .cfg or .air files and nowt else that would relate to how the engines performed :

Thats the problem with FSX planes at the moment.
Most are designed for FS9 with an adaptation for FSX... which means they do not work and/or behave the way they are supposed to. Too many examples out there. Give it some time for developers to determine what is needed. FS9 also took a few years to become the main standard it is today

Well I guess I will just wait for the SSTSIM Concorde oh well thank you so much everyone

Searching in a different website today, fs-freeware.net, I found another concorde for FSX, which seems to be good, I have't tested it
because I use FS9. anyway, you can take a look at it http://www.fs-freeware.net/modules.php? name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&cid=77&lid=2295&ttitle=Flight_Simulator_X_-_Concorde_package#dldetails The link doens;t seem to be working well, just copy and paste it on your browser. |
