try with the E6600 (2.4GHz) as I say when people ask about this: I don't know if a DX9 card and Vista works good or the only thing that
works perfect is DX10 card and Vista. For this reason I think it would be best to wait to Vista comes out and see what experiences other
people get.

yeah.....but im on a budget....im fine with xp and dx9....

and im planing DDR2 800 or 667

For hardisk I would opt for the Seagate Baracuda SATA2 NCQ drives......fast, quiet, cold and cheap
I have the 7950GT 512 - you can even find some factory overclocked ones like mine pretty cheap.
But all that is - as you mentioned - XP equipment. Vista - who knows........
