Quote:too much commercial aircraft!!only 3 civil jets! Okay, first you say there's too much commercial aircraft; then you say ONLY 3 civil jets? Your point? By the way, there was never an MDanything before either - just in the AI. Hey look, it's like they said, MS makes the open-ended platform and then others in the community exploit it for all it's worth with add-ons. I'm rather psyched about the fact that there's going to be an Airbus in this one. Why, they chose the A321 over the baseline A320, I don't know. Anyway, one of those videos was cool in that they are attempting to accurately model things now - aircraft-wise. One question was whether the A321 was going to look like an Airbus (graphically) but fly like a Boeing. The answer was, no - it will fly like an Airbus. Don't worry - there will be plenty of addon aircraft coming, plus many of the previous ones from FS9 will still work. I just hope there's some kind of workaround for the gauges, as I've already had an aircraft panel blow up in my face 'cause some of the gauges are too old. They work with FS9 but not the FSX demo. Could just be the demo or, it could be a major restriction to the fully backwards compatible idea.

Well there are gonna be custom models of the md, 757, and the 777 once FSX Comes out...with one of the defaul panels of course...I
could live with that

Yet another reason to download the demo and mess with it now! Copy your aircraft into FSX demo and try them out. That way, you can
find out now which gauges will not carry over properly. |
