Rather than fannying about getting cars to indicate, why dont they sort out the ATC.

ok, stupid question.
If I install Vista on this computer, will I get better performance from FSX or will it be the same?

I'd bet it would be better because of DirectX 10.

To be honnest I'd be happy if they changed the voices to make them sound alot more realistic like a real voice instead of it sounding like a robot.
Hopefully also it will have more of a realistic damage affect on the aircraft either its due to pushing the engines too hard or some kinda over heat process. Or maybe show a visible engine fire.

wow!!! If u look at the pics. on FSX and that 1 picture on I think fs98 picture. The runway textures dont look much different at all. ouch <---
thats gotta hurt if microsoft read that. I'm hoping that the runway textures will have some kinda change due to the runway lighting either its on approach or final...

I dont care about the "looks" of my enviroment, at least not until they make it more realistic, like having more than one runway being used when you
have 3. AISmooth has "fixed" UT so that I and other planes can actually take off. I was at Seattle/Tacoma Airport the other day, around 7 PM (I know, this is when it gets going) and planes were disappearing because they had to wait so long so they could take off. Every single plane was sent to runway 34R, landing or departing. I had waited 10 minutes to go, and only one plane had taken off, it was rediculous.

I never realized that myself but I hardlly use much traffic lol makes sense i guess. Hopefully FSX will fix that issue

Quote:Sovek wrote:What I do to fix that is use AISeparation instead of AISmooth (aka ai-chaos). I set the separation distance for landing planes to be about 16-22 miles. This allows more flow control. Not really realistic though. Also some ai planes might crash when they're slewed back into a mountain, etc, because there's so much moving going on.
