I must have some reputation as my passenger fear level went up even before I started my take-off. Doubt

More seriously... before take-off the follwoing was the passenger status...

Passenger adrenalin (fear) 9%... the reason... Weather Condition.

I thought it was great that it is built into FsP... as it was justified... the weather was terrible with thunderstorms, mist etc... I could only
barely see the cetre lines (only 2 visibe) on the runway. On takeoff my airspeed fluctuated as well and turbulence kicked in the second I rotated... with the passenger fear going thru the roof... I thought I overran the end of the runway due to the instant fear levels that shot up on rotation... but after i was up and had a second to spare I saw it was due to turbulence. My most difficult take-off to date and excellent from FsP to also recognize that. Smile

Oh and the reason for that was me fiddling with the weather (advanced mode) experimenting... thinking "lets see what this does" Wonder

It is indeed funny to play god with the weather Smile

and can give spectacular beautyfull skies specially with storms. Since a while I fly under real
weather. That way I always must adapt to something else than usual.

I agree with you... it gives a very interesting variety... altho this time I think I went too far... I still havent landed as im flying on the other
pc and I set that weather to all stations... I dont think ill see the runway when I have to flare and touchdown as I really almost couldnt see the
runway on take-off. .. but I am enjoying every second of this flight even tho disaster might be looming up ahead. Smile

I love the weather. Nothing like a flight in low visibility with low ceilings, and heavy precip. Very fun stuff!

Whew... I touched down without seeing the runway or ground.... zero visibility even on touchdown... with one engine out and it was a hard landing BUT
safe landing.

Reuters - 18 Sept 2005

A Boeing 727-200 from EnGarde Air sustained some minor damage to the gear earlier today when the aircraft touched down on landing. None of the passengers were killed but some had to be treated for shock and whiplash. According to a spokesman of the FAA some strange phenomenon occured causing all available airports to have severe storms and weather in their vicinities. Apparently the 727 also lost two engines just before starting the decend due to pilot error as the left and right fuel tanks ran dry. The pilot Capt Omarza successfully re-started engine number one but failed to get engine number 3 started again. The FAA will decide within the next few days what action to take agains Capt Omarza. Capt Omarza was not available for comment.

One thing I noticed is that one can get distracted in very bad circumstances... main reason that I failed to ensure fuel is balanced in this flight..
first time it happened to me. Smile

Just before takeoff aligning on runway... and the landing weather was just as bad if not worse Smile

Yeap, but sometimes they are little bit too chicky.

I.e, the other day landing here in London Heathrow (EGLL) the weather was little bit poor (as usual lol

) and my passengers got so
scared for just a couple of "jumps" and the rain from outside.

The good point about it that they get so impressed if you land safetely and you get lots of bonus!!!
But I definetely have to try to put several winds and lots of XRAYS HUA HUA HUA Well

I started out with brilliant blue skies, but since I discovered Active Sky, I couldn't imagine a cloudless environment anymore!

there's no such thing as "no weather" unless there's no atmosphere either. Hey Omarza, which 727 were you using the Capsim one or
the Dreamfleet baby?

I only fly in real time and real time weather. Some places I land are always clear or with broken clouds, and every once in a while there is
rain and occasionally a thunderstorm. Makes it fun Smile

Real wreather is indeed very adictive even without add ons. Bring surprises and make each flight different and yes Aibiria, can bring
