Sounds good, will the airline name be editable eventually too?
Flying for Landmark Airlines.

don't cargo pilots actually make more money than airline pilots, especially internationally.

Okay, here we go:
No, I don't have pictures cause it's really nothing much to look at - just a simple utility. EVERYTHING will be editable right from the start. In fact, if you want, you can start it, start a new pilot, then exit out and edit the pilot file to your current status. For example, let's say you currently fly a B735 with 250 hours logged and are at level C7. Just open the pilot folder and your pilot's file and edit the rank, total hours and each type's hours (SEP, MET, etc.) Then go down to row 5 and enter the codes of all aircraft you have flown. When you restart, you will be able to view any job openings that match your rank and aircraft type-rated on so you can jump right in. I'm wondering if you should also change airlines in FSP when you change jobs in this addon - I guess I'll call it Pilot Career. If so, I'll make a pile of logos to match the airlines included in the first version by going to Aerosite and resizing them to fit FSP. Cost will be $75. :D The cost of course is $0 as it is just a simple addon utility for FSP. I'm also going to write a little utility to convert airport codes, as FS9 uses ICAO and most timetables are setup with IATA codes. This will read your plans file and convert all codes to ICAO. THAT WILL be a pain in the neck! I'll probably use the AIseparation database as a basis for the file but to collect ALL those codes will take a while, so I'll just do the initial bunch. As far as cargo pilots go, I just found a site that has payscales for airline pilots and I'll use that as a gauge. The idea behind having cargo airline flights is to have lower qualifications, as you are flying cargo and not pax, for the entry level stuff so if you want to gain some experience quick, you can jump into a UPS DC8 or something. Anyway...

What if you are already a flying legend rank? Can you just adapt it to go from the state you're at and use it like that from then on?

There are gonna be a lot of c23 siggi pics popping up.

Well, as it's the Lord's day, there will be no work today but, Monday night at work, I'll probably polish it off enough to upload something
Tuesday or Wednesday. There are several features which are incomplete but still within the code that I can activate later such as the demotion routine, the job sort parameters and an airline viewer which will allow you to view each airline, what aircraft they fly, etc. In terms of cheating, of course you can cheat but you're only cheating yourself, not anyone else. You could go in and enter all kinds of flight times and ranks when you never even flew them but what's the point of that? It doesn't alter your FSP status. If I wanted to get crazy, I could find a way for FSP to log your flights automatically, bypassing the log flight screen altogether. If Dan wants to incorporate this in a later version of FSP, he's welcome to make that link. I just made this for myself, originally, so that I could use FSP while having something similar to Airline Pilot but with an easily editable flights database. Like I said, it's nothing special. Think of it this way: FS9 allows you to fly any plane, anywhere. FSP allows you to carry pax and have a career as a pilot, advancing through the ranks. Pilot Career only tells you where to fly, with restrictions on aircraft based on type-ratings achieved, which in turn limit the airlines you can fly with. So, if you make yourself a C23 in my addon, that doesn't alter your FSP standing at all. Mine just uses the rank to determine whether an airline will consider you for employment. You may be able to get a job at DL, for example, flying an MD80 with a C6 but, to fly an MD11 may require a C8 with 250 hours in the company. It's kind of funny; Microsoft makes a product that allows you to fly anything anywhere and we make all these addons to restrict where and what we can fly!

So can I adapt this to have my current company doing flights randomly assigned? When are you going to upload it to the downloads section?
