would you please tell me how you created the seat belt button I would like to make
buttons for the other 5 operations in fs passenger for my panels so I dont have to search
for the keys if i have to call a mayday, or turn on music, or pass out food

I already know how to do the button that is created and with config edit i can place the button I was wondering how it was created to add
to the panel the actual creation of the button?????

It'll be a gauge, there is a .bmp file that provides the image and an xml file that is the workings of the gauge, it associates the bmp with the
ctrl/shft-b command that activates the seat belt command, in fact there will be two .bmp's one for on, one for off.

How to make such a gauge? Well, I could make a .bmp file, but the xml code needed to knock a gauge together is way beyond me.

No, you can't make XML gauge to work with FsP seatbelt command.
It has to be .gau (dll type) gauge since you need direct memory access to work with FsP.
Dan can explain it in details, but doubt it will help you anyway, so I wouldn't bother him to do it.

As I know that it is (more or less) impossible to add functions to gauges(yes, even a switch is a gauge as I learned ) that are not
defined as events in the FS9 sdk (XML ), I wonder what way there is to bypass this limitation using *.gau files.

Maybe Dan can answer this ???????
