I am at crossroads in that I probably have to upgrade HD, I want a 19" flat screen, and need to go USB 2. I have a HP Pavillion 2.4 with
Gforce 5700 that is happy to run Fs9 with all add ons I wanted.
So, I was looking at UK's PC World store today where they have Packard Bell Duo Core, Gforce 7300, 2MB Ram, 200GB HD and stunning
Sony 19" flat screen, all for £625, or £599 with Samsung 19" monitor.
So, I either upgrade my current config for around £200-£250 or just go up to next duo core level.
FSX is running with my Pavilion at present, but its no great deal, but I am flying default Airbus and 737.
I am not at all clear where the 'great upgrade' to FS is! Looks much the same as Fs9 to me. APPR is still nonsense, GPS identical, etc etc.
I suppose that Vista could kick FSX to a new level, and that indeed could change how we see things!
Any comments welcome.....decisons decisions.....
