Just so you all know, Vista RC1 is released to the public via the CPP Program.

Note: You can do an upgrade from XP or Beta 2 to RC1 (but not from 5536 or any other Vista build).

Your product key is the same one that was used for Beta 2 and/or 5536. If you don't have one and/or lost yours, unfortunently you are (legally) out of luck.

Your product key is the same one that was used for Beta 2 and/or 5536. If you don't have one and/or lost yours, unfortunently you
are (legally) out of luck.

Actually, no in a couple of weeks they will be accepting new people to come in and help test it.

Whats happens when the Rc1 beta ends, which stated June 1, 2007, will it just uninstall or will you have to downgrade to Windows Xp
Sp2 again?

Nevermind, then. I know they have at least temporarily run out of product keys, though.

I bet on the 1st of June, a similar thing will happen to when you run out of time on your activation grace period. Hopefully by then I'll actually
own Vista . If not, back to xp. Or maybe RC2 or whatever will still work.
