You going to need windows vista apparently for FSX (in order to support Direct X 10) but it will run on XP.

To answer the questions quite simply: FSX does NOT support Dual-core cpu and will not in the future. Support for Multi-GPU (SLI- no word
about Crossfire) will be fully implemented with DX10 graphics adaptors under Vista (who want's vista ???) - NOT with DX9.0c cards under XP. They will just bring the normal 'boost' as with all other non-optimized applications but will not maximize their capacities. I hope this helps ![]() Greetz Carsten P.S. Pls do not phantasize about 'patches' that will enable dual-core......to implement full support the program core would have to be completely rewritten.......

Just like we waiting for the direct x 10 patch to be released.

Direct X 10 will be enabled through a patch. As for dual core, FSX already utilises dual cores, sometimes when loading but not while in
flight. SP1 will increase how much FSX utilises the dual cores and where it does, but will not give full dual core support. |
