Saving data

I was operating a very long flight (11 hours) a couple of nights ago. About nine hours into the flight my system crashed. I was able to
retrieve most of my FS flight thanks to an auto-save utility I installed several months ago. Unfortunately, I lost all the time in FSP. Has
anyone come up with a way of saving FSP’s data during a flight?

Unfortunatey that will not be added. I want it, but I guess it's not demanded enough -- It's also REALLY hard to be implemented onto
FS apperently.

Don't expect this for a long time.

This has been discussed several time already.

In brief the code exist , worked for me but failed for testers.
Fs9 don't do better with complex add-ons.
A save that you can't relly 100% is dangerous.

In brief I disabled this code, I may work again on it
in the incoming month but no promise.

I really hope that you can create it Dan. I would say that EVERYONE would want it, but apperently not everone does (lol Brad) but
still, It would be cool to have the option.

Dad, is there any way that you can give us the code thing, so we can just try it out? I don't mind if it doesn't work, I'd like to try it though!

Seriously Dan, I'd even like the saving feature even if it didn't totally work. I know, I know, it sometimes is concidered cheating, and no one
tell me that "you shouldn't fly if you know you don't have enough time to complete the flight" but honestly I don't care! I just want to save,
and I think we should have the option to! I hope you can think of something, Dan!

FS9 comes with a saving feature... the game is designed to have the ability to save, hopefully it can be implemented into FsP!

Today I've experienced for the first time the need of saving. It was not a good day but... suddently... thunderstorm! I had two choises: close all the
applications or save the game and exit. Unfortunately saving option are not accessible at present and so...
I would encourage Dan to find the courage and the way to saving FsP files.
May I give you an idea??? (I don't know at all if it's possible to make...) :
1) It's possible to make the FS9 flight in pause mode;
2) We could save our flight in pause mode
3) In the same time FsP saves the data of flight (the absolute position too) in a separate file

4)When the flight is loaded, FS9 read it's own file and FsP read it's own too, with position (if the file is saved on pause mode, the aircraft does
not move!) and all other data... It is a possible way?
