Hello guys,
I purchased FS Passengers some weeks ago and so far enjoyed it very much to build up my own bushflying/ commuter airline. All in all the product is
awsome and I don`t want to fly without it anymore
.
My English isn`t that well to describe things with few words I fear, please excuse me for my following long description.
So here comes the problem:
My Realair Duke for which to purchase I flew alot of weekends with my airline seems to have a bug. The left maingear won`t go down, whatever I try
and it`s not a failure scenario by fs passengers as it seems (which is a shame because I hoped for it, but why it`s not I`ll explain now.) First of
all: I deactivated the dukes damage model (what I learned to do by flying FS passengers in A2A Cherokee before), so it won`t influence FSP. During
approach the first sign of something is wrong is that fsx tells me I`m to fast for getting down the gear (but infact my speed is 90-100, just perfect
for the approach). Landing gear indication shows right maingear stucked, 3rd person view shows the same.
My first thought ofc was "Oh cool, an FS passengers emergency!" . So I called out an emergency, switched on the video record and first tried to bump
out the gear by a hard touch and go. Infact tried it two times just to get sure. When nothing happened, I made the emergency landing. Just later it
became strange to me that the co pilote never reacted with comments on the situation. But anyways. when I ended the flight I opened the report and
nearly fell from the chair (lol): "It seems the pilote issued an emergency without a proper reason"
Also funny: The passengers were pleased with a smooth flight, a smooth landing and the airline should get a reputation of 100% x)
Yeah, thx for the flowers but i just got 300 penalty points and a bill of arround 200000 $...
Something interresting: The Video, Fsx recorded shows A: the gear completly down and B: the flaps fluttering as if the plane has a much to high speed.
So what I somehow think is that maybe the payloadmanager is bugged and overweights the plane letting fsx think it is to fast etc.?
The payloadmanagers of paywareplanes I used so far often had weight issue problems (the A2A cherokee was a disater until i figured out how to deal
with it. Flipping right over when loading the passengers because heavier than calculated, extreme hard landings because heavier than calculated etc.)
Or is there something else i can do?
So far tried it 4 times and always the same happends.
best regards, Eruthian
