Prepar3d

Hi,
I changed to Prepar3d and I am not able to install FSPassenger on P3D even with the use of "FSX to Prepar3d Migration Tool" because
FSPassenger is looking for FSX.cfg which is definitely not available because of Prepar3d.cfg.
How can I solve this problem.

this is a long shot.

i dont know much about p3d. but if its CFG file looks simmiller to FSX CFG. than what i would try is before installing FSp, backup the P3d CFG,
rename it to fsx (thas the cfg name all lowercase) install FSpassengers. then rename the CFG back to P3d.

Theres no guarante that it will work but its the only thing i can think to try. if it does not work deled the CFG file and restore your backup

Hi,
I tried your idea but after all the following message appeared: "unknown FSX (no SP1 or SP2). FSP will now finish"

In fact this is the wrong way.

crap. thoues things. im assuming that P3d has thoue insttalled already. but its renamed or moved them. so FSP cant find them. You may need to talk
to the P3d Guys they know more about it so im shure they could help.

Even when FSX to P3D Migration Tool is installed FSP does not find FSX.cfg

Maybe the one of the FSPassenger team reads the forum and realize that the F3P is the better FSX. Hopefully

P3d may be better. but it is expensive, and from my understanding its only avalible to Schools and,companys. not for personal use.
