Right procedure for Fuel Leak failure

What should I do when I have a fuel leak problem. Yesterday I was on a flight and my right engine started to leak fuel until it got empty and stopped.
I crashed trying to land with only one engine. I was on a 737-900.
What would be the right procedure?

Use crossfeed from the good cell to the leaky one and all will work out while you land as soon as practicably.

Thanks.... I was reading about that.. the pumps and crossfeed in ifly manual...
