Wrong Authorisation after a couple of flights

Hello,

i purchased this vewry cool program yesterday. Installed and registred it - startet first flight. All was working fine this time. Later after 2 or 3
flight it was telling me "Wrong Authorisation" or wrote in the flight record that it is a bad day for the author because i've not purchased it.

I searched the forum and found some topics related to this problem and tried something to solve it:
- I uninstalled, rebooted and then reinstalled as admin, registred again
- The UIAutomationCore.dll was already swapped out because of other problem with FSX (CTD,...)
- The fsx.exe is startet as admin

My System Configuretion:
- i7, 6GB RAM, Radeon HD 5850
- Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
- installed FSX on second harddrive (no standard path, d:\programme\fsx)

FSX Addons:
- REX (Real Environment X)
- Ultimate Terrain X Europe
- PMDG Jetstream 4100
- Leonardo Fly the MADDOG 2008
- Flight1 ATR 72
- LevelD Simulations 767
- Wilco Feelthere Airbus Series 1 and 2 incl Updates
- PMDG 747-400 (with Service Pack)
- PMDG MD-11 (with Service Pack)
- FSUIPC 4.2 (only bought WideFS license, so only WideFS part is registred)

It's very annoying to reinstall an addon more then one times ervery day to be able to use it. Every time i have to copy database etc reinstall,
restore DB,...

Every time i re-unlock after reinstall the same is happening again. I also was waiting 24hours but with no result.

I'll respect the work of the author, i think it's ok to implement functions to avoid pirated using of a software, but if I pay money for something
it is not acceptable to be restricted by this functions.

I hope you can help me using the addon normally.

Any idea what I shoud do to get it working ?

Yes I also read this thread - uninstalled FSUIPC completely - tried again an done some flights with no errors. Today on my first flight the

Regarding to this forum it seems that I'm not the only one with this problem so please say anything else as "have you read this..." - i was
searching the forum and read all the threads but nothing works for me. You can see that I'm runnign a lot of addons but noone will make
problems like this. I thougt it will be a very good addon since i tried the demo an so i bought it - and now it's very annoying to get it not
working.

Shot in the dark here as I don't use Win7 or Vista, but (and I imagine it is possible) are you using the same IP address each time on your computer? I
know that some XP networks will occaisionally reallocate a computer a new IP address if something hasn't worked with the previous address. Also make
sure that FSX and FSP are in you "allowed" list on your firewall. If you're using Windows firewall, turn it off and use a firewall provided by
MacAffee or Comodo (former paywear, latter freewear but both just as good).

Are you running it as admin every time?

The IP in my LAN is the same all the time, internet (WAN) IP changes every time if i reconnect my routers connection to my provider (nomally).

I'm using windows firewall but grant full access for FSX.exe and all exe files in the fspassengers folder.

I'm running FSX as admin all the time and deactivated UAC.

Now the problem still there after 7 flights i get the error :-(

I have arbitrated by some tests that it only happens after restarting FSX. If I install and unlock i can do many flights without the problem. If I
restart FSX, the problems happens again. So i have to reinstall minimum one times per day - annoying. Any further ideas to solve it ?

DO YOU HAVE AN OLD FSPASSENGERS VERSION?
On some old versions, the protection was more sensitive, so please check your version and upgrade to the latest if necessary. To check
your version and upgrade: See this FAQ: How can I upgrade, find which version I have ?

DO YOU RUN FS2004 ON WINDOW VISTA ?
Before installing FsPassengers you must ensure Fs2004 run with administrator right. Right click on 'fs9.exe' and select 'run as admin'. It
should also always run with admin right.

DID YOU COPY/MOVE THE FSPASSENGER FOLDER?
There is an anti folder copy protection, you can not move the folder, FsP will detect that. If you want to move it because you reinstalled
Fs2004 for example, simply reinstall FsPassengers in your new Fs2004 directory, unlock the demo again (using your original key) and
copy the 'FsPassengers/Database' folder which contain all your flight data from your old installation to the new one.



IF NOTHING WORK:
----------------
1-Save your flight database (see this FAQ : I want to reinstall FsP but I want to keep my company OR I want to backup my company )
2-uninstall completely FsPassengers, check, double check that the folder 'FsPassengers' in your flight simulator directory disappeared
completely.
3-Fresh Boot your computer - DON'T LAUNCH ANYTHING - (not flight simulator for example)
4-If you run Fs on window vista, right click on fs9.exe and select 'run as admin'
5-Install FsPassengers
6-Run flight simulator
7-Unlock with your unlock key.
8-Exit flight simulator, copy back your database folder.
9-Done.

Tramin: how much RAM do you have? Also which version of FSX do you have, and which service packs installed for it.

Hello,

I have had the same problem since I had to reinstall FSP for FS9 under Win 7 64 bits. I applied the solutions mentionned above and it worked for a few
flights.

But the same frustrating "wrong authorisation" bug came back lately and I can't understand why as I haven't changed anything in FSP's installation.

This may have nothing to do with FSP given the number of people who have complained about the issue. To me, it sounds like this is being caused by yet
another Windows Update, so I would advise backing up your pilot records and then performing a system restore back to the day before the "wrong
authorisation" message would appear.

i had fspax running perfectly for a while then it started doing this randomly i have reinstalled multiple times and now every time i launch a
flight i get this damn error. i have about had it with fspax and i am totally dissappointed i purchased it. might have well got a pirated copy if
the real copy doesnt even function right.

do you think it may have something to do with the sounds files? i have custom crew packs and delete the default and non-english crew
packs i was wondering if this could cause a problem? idk why because it seemed to have worked before.
