Some1 plz help me

Hi, i dont know if im making a dumb Mistake or theres something wrong with my game or what.

(this is the demo btw) I load flight sim 2004, it comes up with the help page and everything, i press select flight and click on flight sim
passengers demo scenario, it loads then there no menu or anything, i cant start the passengers or anything, its just like a normal flight.
I have vista. i tried running the install of fsp AND the shortcut to the game under administrator and it still doesnt work

I have edit voicepack and ive heard this can cause problems or something.

i think i figured out wats wrong. when im in the game in cockpit view i righ click, theres some view options come up.
Theres one view option that says "hide menu" then its ticked. I cant untick it tho, its greyed out.
if any1's got any ideas plz tell me, thx again

run flight sim in windowed mode not full screen mode, if you insist on running it in full screen mode, press ALT and the menu will appear
