Frustrating problem.

I planed and typed in KATL Atlanta intl well had a great flight with a perfect landing and I get the you landed at the wrong airport penalty WTH !This
program will not recognize KLAX or KATL Why is this? They are only 2 of the busiest airports in the U.S.

Could you post your flight report, please ?

Might be that there is another airport close by, and you were closer to another airport then KATL, or KLAX.
Or which people hate to admit, the typo

How do you post you're flight? I was very careful to type the airport designator code correctly and it still says I landed at the wrong airport.

If it comes up a different flight, click the flight you had problems with, then go to the 'LastViewedReport' text file.

OK there is a slight chance I miss typed the airport designator as I just flew the Dash 8 from KSAN to KLAX and it was a perfect flight and it did
record and acknowledge the correct airport, so this is most likely pilot error.

I had the same thing happen at KATL, but it sounds like pilot error.

I think there is a compatability problem with the CS 757 as I was carful to type in KLAX and I did a non stop KMCO to KLAX and I got the honorable
reating for landing at the wrong airport. I flew the PSS Dash 8 into KLAX with no problem, so I have narrowed it down to the CS aircraft might not be
entirely compatible in that respect, just a small glitch. I realize that it is impossible to cover everything in a program, but it is an outstanding
program never the less. I will try a flight that terminates at KLAX when I get my Level D 767 later this month.

It has nothing to do with the airplane used, FsP just checks which airport you landed, it uses the info from FS9. The reason still can be that there
is another airport nearby (or helipad! ) to which you've landed closer.
If you just copy that flight report here like requested What is the airport mentioned etc, that's the important info we're waiting for

I did a short KLAS to KLAX and parked where Delta would park at KLAX and it worked out fine, so the parking too close to a Helipad sorta makes sense.
