altitude set .....

I had the download version, and liked it so much I bought the cd version from Dan.

It was al working fin untill I put another add on on in the form of just flights tornado... I got board with it and as i had Fuispu? modual and
other stuff put on curtersy of just flight it started running and occaisionly locking.

So I uninstalled everything including FS2004 cleaned the reg and re-installed FS2004 Fs2004traffic and Militery Pacs. Then I installed the
FSP. (I have also upgraded to FS9.1)

now when i use the altimeter set feature... the plane 737 (and any other) only climbs at a rate of 500 fpm... when it used to to the FS2004
default.

Is this wrong now or was it wrong befrore?


Also how do I get a pic in my signiture?

First of all: welcome to the forum!

The altitude set feature does not have any effect on your rate of climb (or descent).

As for adding a pic to your signature, simply post the URL to your sig in your profile enclosed in [IMG] tags, i.e.

[IMG]URL of your sig[/IMG]

thanks, but before the install when I set altitude using FSP the craft would climb/desend by the default (1800) amount. now it only climbs
by 500fpm or desends.... was this a fluke? are you saying that once I set the altitude I then have to change the descend/climb rate
manually?

Yes that's what he is saying. Set altitude via FsP and then you got to set the VS (descent/climb) rate manually
