Save flights in Fs passengers

Does anyone know if there is a way to save flights?? I mean it is seriously ridiculous to have to do London to New York all in one go. I know it
isn't realistic to be able to save during flights, but for God's sake, it is a 'game', people!!!! I really think that this feature should be added for
those of us who have better things to do than sit in front of a flight sim for 8 hours non-stop. Even if you accelerate time, it is still 3 hours
(and if you aren't quick enough to return to normal time when the ATC chimes in. Not to mention wanting to punch the monitor when you've done London
to New York, you're on final approach and you GET A BLOODY CTD!!!!!!!!

There are other things to do when your flying, I dont personally sit in front of my computer for long flights(over 5-6 hours)sometimes there
is an acception. I usually find something around the house to do and check in every 20 minutes to make sure things are ok or go one the
internet.

But I have been able to pause a flight, turn my computer to standby and turn it back on around 2 hours later and the game was still there,
this is rather risky though.

I agree entirely with you, Wing Co, and this request keeps cropping up on this forum.

IMHO, it's the most pressing issue for the FsPax boffins.

This has been discussed in quite a bit of detail before. I don't think we'll ever see a "save" feature.

One thing I do is copying the complete FSPAX Folder into "backup" folder, and if I crash I just overwrite the one in the FS9 Folder.
Then I have to do the whole flight again, but in the end my pilot is not dead ;-)

I know that simulation should have something to do with reality, but as some of us have a job I can only do long flights
if the plane is on the way while I am working or sleeping......

So I have to live with it that I wake up and am dead..... (however that sounds)

Of course it would be nice to have the option to set the simulator be paused if there is a failure
or after a certain duration (like 3h 40 mins), if I can´t come home in time to land before I run out of fuel, but
I can completely understand if simulation makes it necessary to stay in front of the computer for 6 hours ;-)

After all I can turn on TV during flight.......

If you can perform a miracle like raising the dead, surely you can "save" a flight!
