I decided to reinstall my FS2004. Mainly because the directory was now 19GB big and 99% of the aircraft I do not fly anymore! So I backed up my
'Database' and payload directory, and removed FS9 from my HD. Defragged and reinstalled FS9 and then all my payware aircraft I still fly and the
aeroworx scenery files for South Africa. Got their liveries up and running and tested to see if FSUIPC still works ok. Copied the backed up database
for FSP back into place, resubmitted my username and password and run FSP.
No problems, company, my pilot and aircraft still there (duh!!) and no authorization problems sofar! Admittingly I only ran FSP for about 2 - 3
minutes so I would not have seen the authorization failure message yet but the unlock said everything was A ok.
So for all those souls with problems, the FAQ works! :D Just need to read up on a few things before you go running of the cliff
