Would ATC really vector jet aircraft on a visual for 22L? On an IFR plan I was told to stay at 3600 (to clear the mountains) then do visual approach
to 22L - this requires a nose dive with spoilers deployed and my copilot having a heart attack. I put it down over halfway down 22L, rolling off the
end a few metres - but got docked a lot of points for the "dangerous landing" and a bill for landing gear damage - I went straight up to ATC to tell
them off and give them the bill.
I gotta find easier airports to land at
