Editing the database?

Hi everyone

Today I made a very very stupid mistake

Some of you may or may not know, I'm flying the fspworldtour around the world

I created a seperate company for it so I could keep track of distance, legs and times and have all my fspax reports stored

But I took a break from the flying today and just did a normal flight, nothing to do with the tour

And silly me forgot to change the active company, and I did a normal flight on my world tour company

Now this may not seem like a big deal, but it is. Now the time is inaccurate (uploading a pirep to my VA), the fsp map that I use to show my status on
the tour is now looking awful because i have the tour going round the world along with a Heathrow - Boston big red line, which does not follow in the
tour at all and makes it look like its not a tour at all if you know what I mean. The distance done so far is all in bits now, as it is the long half
tour i did so far plus this 7 or so hour flight

Now I was wondering is there a way to edit the database that contains all the records of these files, and delete the flight that mucks all the world
tour up? (I would prefer the flight moved to another country, but I dont mind if it had to be deleted fully)

If anyone can help me with this I would be most grateful

Sorry Tim, but as far as I know, there is no way to edit the database.

This is a bit of a pain, I'll probably have to discontinue the tour, which is a shame because I just over half way through it

I dont think I will start it again because I have already done 94 hours 18mins of flying, and thats a lot of time to have to do again over a wrong
flight in the wrong section of the database

If only there was a way to edit the database and delete the flight that is causing the hassle, but it appears there isnt, so I guess the world tour is off

Unlike the others said, it is... possible. You just have to be a programmer and/or 1337 h4x0r. Periodically some have come and gone who have known
how to do it, and I have a few theories myself, but no one is allowed to give out instructions and even if I did know I wouldn't tell.

My intention isnt to hack the program or anything

I didnt realise it would be so complicated

I dont really have the time to start the tour over as I have exams coming up soon, and I should be studying, they are important, depend very much on
whether I'm going to be a pilot when I'm older or not lol

But I'm not too worried, in the monthly exam last month, I got 7 A's and 2 B's, and there was only 9 subjects so that was great!

Maybe editing the database isnt the right move here?

Can anyone please reply back and tell me if in any way possible is it to remove the irrelevant flight, it may not be obvious but it does create a
great problem and it would be a shame to end the world tour this far on, 95 hours, over 30,000nm

basically, once its recorded, its there for good, unless you know of anyone who can edit the database.

Dan could, thou busy with fspx (im copyrighting that name as it sounds better than fsxp ) so i doubt will have time
Covoxer use to be able to edit them, but i havent seen him on here for quite a while.
