Aircraft crash while on 1-2 mile final approach

Several different times now while running FSP (including my last two flights), while on ILS 1-2 mile final, my aircraft (and I've flown a few,
RJ9, B735) will all of the sudden with no warning, bank hard to the left or right and nose dive to the ground. Autopilot can be on or off. And
my settings are for NO failures. I cannot control it in anyway. The post-briefing always says causes were unknown but probably pilot
error, the last time it happened I paused and checked all gauges. Everything checks okay.

This never happened before FSP. And I cannot get it to reoccur while not running FSP.

Anyone else experience this? What can I do? Should I reinstall FSP???

That's bizarre. This may not be at all related but, I have a screwy mouse setup. Sometimes, my optical mouse will all of a sudden dart
across the screen. This is especially un-nerving while lining up someone in BF2! Like having a seizure! Anyway, could something be
messing with your controls? Just a random thought. I personally have no idea why FSP would cause such a fault.

I have no idea about this one either. Is it at a certain scenery maybe? Also something to check is whether you have Active Sky and have 'wake
turbulence' active. If so, disable it and try again?

So far, none of the above. the first time it happened was when I was just demo-ing the game, flew from SFO - LAX, and on final, dove into
the ocean, lol. The passengers screaming was a nice effect.

Don't even know what active sky is. No mouse problems that I can detect.

Maybe it's FS9, but somehow it only reacts when FSP is running?? Not sure what action to take on this. I'd hate to reload everything,
considering all the scenery, afcads, freeware and payware aircraft I have.

Are you using a joystick or yoke?

If so, try disabling it and see if that's the cause.

Do you get the same error when not playiing FSP. then you can suspect some other stuff.

I too was trying to land and i used to crash the plane quite often. This were some of the observations i made when playing
1. Check for stall speed.
2. Check if autopilot is on, and when landing its best to make sure you are descending only at 300 - 500 fpm.
3. Check for appropriate flap setting
4. When I say check stall speed, for examply Boeing 737-400, the stall speed is around 145. I normally descent at around 155 - 150
knots only. When at around 500 feet above, i reduce speed to 140 knots, on autopilot ofcourse. I dont have the altitude control on autopilot
and i gently try and glide the plane down till the co-pilot calls up 40, thats when i flare the aircraft. So on 20 its kind of starting to flare, on
10 it flares and in less than half a second, the plane hits the ground at a descent of around 300 - 600fpm max.

Plan your approach very early, line up with the runway and reduce speed to around 180 speed and on flap setting 2. Reduce speed to
155 and on speeds like 180 - Flap 5, 170 - F-10 then 15, on 160 flap 25, and finally when reduced to 150 flap 30 is down. Put down the
wheels only when speed is around 180 or so.

In response to "vincentt." Thank you, but I'm sure that's not the problem. I run by all the reference and checklists, and I have more than
200 FS hours. Wish I'd found out about FSPassengers early on! (also have more than 100 hrs prvt pilot)

I'll test out the joystick theory and let ya'll know. It's a good excuse to get me a new one anyway!
