PHP- Mayday :-)

hi everyone,

first of all i have to say, that i like this forum cause there are so many helpful topics...thank for your kindness.

2nd, my english is not good :-)

ok,
i have a php problem and i tried out so many steps...but nothing happens...and i would like to please you for help:

i created a database on a php-server succesfully (wow!) ;-) http://mitglied.lycos.de/markuskoller/fspva/index.php


so you can see that the fsp-script can connect to my localhostserver and the database...it works...so far so good.

when i´m editing the VA-config sys in many ways, the va-section in the fs2004 can´t connect to the site cause the site did not replied....whatever
this means...

here is the va-config-sys-file with the right username and password (i made this usename and password in the admin section by creating a new user in
the va-script 1.5)

menu_name=koller-wings; // 30 characters max
base_url=http://mitglied.lycos.de/markuskoller; // 50 characters max
path_stats=fspva/index.php?action=va; // 50 characters max
path_export=fspva/FsPgetflight.php; // 50 characters max
username=markus; // 20 characters max
password=testtest; // 20 characters max

i´m sad that it does not work....what kind of mistake is it ? please can anyone try it out what i have to do ??? it´s strange cause the VA-script can
connect to the database as well....

im not so bright on databases etc....

but

path_stats=fspva/index.php?action=va; // 50 characters max

this coupled with your base url takes me to your admin page. - it should show the flights exported list page?

i dont see no fspgetflight or fsplistflight file on your site unless its hidden??

Drew is right, the getflight and listflight files are missing in the base_url path.
For the rest I'll reply in german, which makes it easier for both of us

Markus, die Verzeichnisstruktur deiner Site stimmt nicht.
1. Im Root-Bereich ( http://mitglied.lycos.de/markuskoller/ ) sollten die Dateien FsPlistflight.php und FsPgetflight.php liegen.
2. Darunter muss ein Unterverzeichnis "/FsPAdmin" angelegt werden, in welches die Dateien gehören, die bei dir z.Zt. in "/fspva"
liegen (also setting.php, common.php etc. - ausser den beiden oben genannten).

Danach müsste es eigentlich funktionieren.


p.s.: Momentan wird bei Aufruf der Root-URL der Verzeichnisinhalt angezeigt. Du solltest dort eine "index.php" anlegen mit folgendem Inhalt:

header( "location: FsPlistflight.php" ) ;
?>;
Die schaltet dann automatisch zur Seite mit den Flight Reports um.

thanks a lot for your answers! I´ll try to follow your steps! Vielen Dank Peter, ich werde mal schauen, ob ich es mit meinen spärlichen
php-kenntnissen schaffe :-)

Sollte ich erfolgreich sein, kannst Du Dir über einen Flugprämienbonus sicher sein :-)
