Brake failure

Had a brake failure recently. I landed safley however since my brakes were out so was my parking brake. I couldn't unload nor end the flight because I
couldn't set the parking brake (because of the brake failure). Any suggestions? Will this be addressed in a patch later on? Work arounds? Thanks!!

Thats interesting... never had a break failure so don't know what to tell you but maybe Dan can give some insight to this

Huh, that's interesting. I had a brake failure too, but did manage to end the flight. I think it said the brakes had only failed on one side though.
Maybe both sides failed in this case.

I had a brake failure, but only on the left side.

To my best knowledge, the brake failure doesn't affect the parking brakes...

That's kind of strange...

Did you try to set the parking brake, or did you just assume it didnt work?

Did you try to apply it with <Ctrl>+<.> hotkey?

It all started when I accidentally deployed flaps at high speed (on a Dreemfleet's 727). The were damaged (the FO told me so) and they became stuck at
flaps 1. I managged to land at my destination, KBUR, and almost immediatly I got the brake failure message from the FO. As KBUR's runways are quite
short and I was allready going about 200 kts I performed a GA. I landed at KLAX and used the pneumatic brake to bring the AC to a hault. I then
attempted to set the parking brake as the stewardes were calling for emerg. evacuation. But The second I tried the parking message would blink on then
off. I've never had that problem before, until my brake failure. Anyways, I had to hold down the CTRL + . to let the pax get off but since the parking
break wouldn't stay set I couldn't end the flight.

Sounds more like the regular brake key was stuck.

It happened to me again......brake failure = no more parking brakes. Maybe this is becuase I am using dreemfleets 727. When I 'pusrchased' this 727 on
FS Passangers I had a choice of bad & worse. I thought that spending some cash would fix the plane up but this brake problem keeps spopping up.

I recently had a brake failure but I could still use my parking brake
(even when they made swiss cheese of my aircraft I was still able to put the parking brakes)

If you do have a brake failure, its either the left or the right. It then switches to partial brakes.

I have to agree with the_nick.....I had a brake failure as well and was able to set the parking brake (I wonder how this can be done with a
ruptured hose).
I assume this problem to be related to your addon aircraft !?!
