Holding Pattern/Parking Brake

I just bought this program, which is great, but I have the following questions:

1. Is there an option to tell the passengers and crew we have to go into holding??
2. I seem to get penalized for using my parking brake everytime. I make sure I am completly stopped first. Is this a bug?

#1) Not yet, maybe this will be something Dan adds in the future but it is a lower priority than fixing a few bugs. Make the suggestion to
him and he may add it to a list of future ideas.

#2) What plane are you using? I noticed that if I am in a floatplane on the water, I get penalizied for this once in a while if the water is
choppy. I haven't noticed this on the ground yet though. Maybe the water issue can be fixed by Dan eventually also.

Personnally, I don't see the use of warning your pax that you are stuck in a hold. They'll still be mad if you arrive late because they'll all miss
their correspondance!

Yea, but I think it adds realism to tell your pax; I mean anytime I have been put in the hold as a pax, the captain always says somthing. I
also like to execute MA and holding.

It's best to keep the PAX informed. I'll always notify them if we're about to hold, however with the new traffic management programs,
and gate holds at the departure airport these days, airborne holds have been significantly minimized. I think I've held somewhere
between 5 and 10 times in my career with SWA, and all the holds were for 20 minutes or less. Happens with some of the East Coast
airports we fly to... the west coast seems to have traffic management under great control.

I got stuck on the ground at DFW for about 20 minutes just trying to cross the active runways.......hell....this month in DFW for real....it took me
30 hours to fly home for a3 hour flight, between weather, missed connections,,reconnections and flying to and from 4 airports....really sucked...I
told one ticket desk...I could have driven the 1500 miles home faster than flying it..
