Payload Problems

Hello,

I've just bought a Connie, unfortunately the payload model doesn't exist by default for this aircraft. So i downloaded the correct payload file and
placed it into the payload_model folder. Started FSP, and i still get the can't find correct payload model. I have copied the filename from the
Title line of the aircraft cfg file and changed the .ini file in the payload_model to read this. It still comes up saying that it has no payload
model for this aircraft, any ideas?

Freeware model, i have read the payload designing thread, the payload exists, it just doesn't want to pick it up.

Downloads page? If so I noted that FsP couldn't find two of the default varients on my machine either. I had never noticed this before
since when I use the Connie it's in a BOAC livery downloaded seperately and it required a specific configuration using Jean-Louis
Courbon's as a base. I did some file renaming and some testing and got all five of my Connies to work with FsP: Read as:
ui_variation = FsP payload model file name

(A) TWA, pre 1950's = Lockheed L049A Constellation

(B) KLM, pre 1950's = Lockheed L049A Constellation, Royal Dutch Airlines

Liveries downloaded seperately

Eastern, pre 1950's = Lockheed L049A Constellation, Eastern Air Lines

BOAC, 1950's = Lockheed L049E Constellation, BOAC

I think that FsP is real fussy about things like spelling, spaces and commas particularly in long file names. For example I discovered that
the original FsP file name (Lockheed L049A Constellation) would detect the TWA varient but not the KLM or PAA versions. Hope this
helps but if you have already tried it all and it hasn't worked, then I apologize for not being more help. The FSDZigns Constellation is an
incredible piece of work if somewhat demanding if you want to fly her accurately but she is well worth the effort. Good luck and remember
that jets are for kids!

Thanks for the reply, i have already tried altering the filename to the above (i'm currently using the KLM varient and enjoying it a lot) it has me a
little perplexed. I agree it is an amazing pieice of work, and even though it's pretty demanding, it's far easy to fly than the DC-3.

Does anybody have a solution for this? I'm willing to try anything to get a good payload model for this plane, it's such a great pieice of work.

Can you copy/paste the name of the aircraft you're flying here (take it in any flight report or copy/paste the first section of the aircraft.cfg)
