Mini Report Problem

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody has had the following problem:

Recently i upgraded my aging ATI 9700pro to a lovely new Geforce 7800, as always, whenever i replace a piece of hardware i format my machine and start
all over again. After reinstalling the O/S Windows XP Pro SP2 i reinstalled MSFS and then (of course) FSP. However now when i go into aflight and
start FSP the mini report box drags a large section of completly blank/black screen, it's a little hard to explain. it makes no difference if the
report is docked/undocked or the colours. Curiously, the little plane picture you get when selecting a plane within FS also doesn't appear just a
black box. Any one got any ideas?

...Yes i agree, although it happens at any resolution, my FS pictures come back at 800x600, but i still have the same problem with the mini report
even at that resolution. I have also turned off all the eye candy options and the same thing happens. Just wondering if anybody is using the same
card / drivers and is working OK?

I now know what others are talking about...I think.

When you move an undocked panel the screen images shrink to about 1/4 the size on the screen like a miniature monitor view, then
expand to normal size again when you release the panel.

I have just gotten used to it and get no "black" area, just that particular panel and the whole image on the monitor shrinks...but the whole
image doesnt shrink. its like a miniature version of the screen for a moment.

Savas, that's the only "side effect" i have also, but the screen disappearing below the fsp box is different from this again indeed, I had it once,
changed some settings and now all fine

Actually the physical image doesn't shrink at all, the mini report just drags a blank screen with it, i have tried with only the basic settings and
that makes little difference (and it looks awful), do you remember what you changed Dutch64? I've checked through the Forum eazy but that problem
appears to relate to AA, it makes no difference to me if AA is on or off.

Not sure now what exactly is happening on your screen, would it be possible to post a screenshot?

OK now i'm really confused, i just started it up for a screenshot, put all the options from default to maximum (including switching back on AA) and it
worked perfectly. I really don't know what was up with it.
