What's wrong with it? I think it's that your panel isn't stretched all the way to the bottom of the screen. Try making sure everything is
aligned and setup correctly. Also, you could always move the FSP display. I've got mine in the upper left corner.

Nope, this is the problem with Nvidia cards (and ATI??) handling the Full Screen Anti-Aliasing (FSAA) in FS9 Windowed mode. Only way to get around
this is to EITHER run FS9 in full screen mode (from startup) or go into the settings for the card and set FSAA setting to "Application controlled". However, that might lower your performance in FS9. ![]() "Dont be too optimistic. The light at the end of the tunnel could be a train." - Franz Kafka

I have all AA settings disabled. I've never seen this problem though (even with the settings enabled for testing).

Ok!
1) Check for driver upgrades for your graphic card 2) In the mean time, place your mini-display at the bottom-left part of your display 3) Use the Search function in this forum and you'll come up with some further tips-and-tricks!

Hmmm, I do have Nvidia (6600GT) and do have hardware AA enabled and don't have this problem. Somewhere else in this forum i posted once my settings,
you can give them a try. Flying without AA is not nice, flying with AA controlled by FS9 is a complete disaster ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I had the exact same problem except that the the portion below the place where the text dialog thing is usually found freezes and sometimes on long
flights my AA goes on and off randomly. I am using 6600GT is well and once I installed the official Nforce3 driver (which is quite old) from the custom made one from guru3D it *seemed* to have gone away. I am not exactly sure because I haven't really fly a real flight in FS yet but at least now Winamp and IVAe live happily beside each other. spec: Sempron 3100+ OC 240x9 1.5GB DDR400 Geforce 6600GT 128MB 78.01 Official Driver Gigabyte Nforce3 Motherboard 5.10 Official Driver

To give even more info: this happen with buggy graphical driver and with antialiasing on.
Finding the "good" drivers always solved the problem for people that experienced it. If you still can't find a good driver you might either disable antialiaasing, disable the FsP mini display in flight or put it on the bottom left corner of your screen. Hope it help ? Dan

Well it IS the problem with NV drivers. I turn off the AA and voilà, no more freezing. I am using the latest, official drivers for both
Motherboard and Graphics card. Guess we will just have to live with it until the next version comes.
